it’s set up to remove itself when the page loads, can you open your console log and let me know if it’s showing you any errors. In chrome use the keyboard shortcut Command + Option + J (Mac) or Control + Shift + J (Windows/Linux). Also what’s the URL?

Preloader is working, thats fine. But he is still there and will not fade and remove. Only loop and loop 🙂

This is ALMOST exactly what I’ve been looking for. I’m running a WP site using the Avada Theme with the LayerSlider and a transparent background. I was having trouble with a split second of load time and all the content being jammed up to the top of the page.

I added modernizr.min.js in the head, put the document ready script in the head as well, put the js class within the html element, added the preloader div right below the body, added the css, and uploaded the loading gif.

Everything Looks Great! Just what i was looking for, except the loading gif won’t go away after the page finishes loading… : (

Can you think of anything I’m forgetting? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
