We created the identity for this South African Art Collective. We borrowed inspiration from some of their housewares to come up with a repeated pattern for the front of the card. You can buy some of their goods on the foshizi Etsy store.

Brooklyn Letters

Brooklyn Learning is a company dedicated to helping kids reach their potential. With programs in speech therapy, learning through play, social skills training or tutoring, their approach is fresh, fun and very successful.

Logo Design

We tried to make their identity portrays the essence of who they are; with lots of Brooklyn touches – the color inspiration came from the Brooklyn Dodgers baseball team, and the B-K-L letters on the blocks are pretty obvious. That’s some borough pride.

Website Design

The vision for the website was to create an online resource for parents to learn about speech disorders and connect with the appropriate professional who can help. We also wanted to give Brooklyn Letters an outlet to connect to local businesses and parents in the community. We collaborated with Amy Way Photography for the photos on the site.

Semantic Management helps small businesses get serious about their financials by getting their bookkeeping automated and organized. How do i get a loan? We created an identity that plays up their mission: ‘sustainable bookkeeping’.

Alison Gootee

We created the identity, some print work, and a website for Alison Gootee, a talented photographer working out of her daylight studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

A Gorgeous Type-based Logo

We chose the self titled font Firmin Didot for it delicate and sophisticated qualities, paired with Zapf’s Optima, which both nicely matched Alison’s photographic style.

We just finished designing a full set of print collateral for Laura Schair, a well known NYC based wedding photographer.

Offset Printing

This is our second big print job in a row (see Weidenbaum Development). We’ve been working with Nobel Printing in Manhattan and really love the attention to detail they give to their work, working on-press with an offset printer is really exhilarating. They treat their work like an artform and you can really feel the history when you walk around their shop.
