This new Park Slope eatery has *amazing* bagels, or as they like to spell them: beygls. The funny spelling comes from the word’s yiddish origin. These guys really know and love the process of making these things, so we spent some time illustrating a cool process page that shows how it’s done. We also like how they source wholesome local ingredients from other New York and Brooklyn vendors. Their site includes a custom online store, galleries where they can archive their collections, and a blog-style area for their textile and fine art experiments.

launch: Peace through Mindfulness

We traveled to Australia without leaving Brooklyn! We just launched the site for Oli Doyle, a Mindfulness all-star in Melbourne. His no-nonsense approach to meditation (which, he says right on the homepage, can be boring) inspired us to create a fun character, the meditating frog, featured in different illustrations around the site. The site keeps people posted about upcoming classes, Oli’s new book, blog and other media.

This is the first collaboration with the talented Emily Conley and we’re looking forward to many more projects with her in the future!

From the beginning we were very excited about designing Kris’ website because she started off by telling us how awesome she thought our work was and how she wanted us to come up with original animated art to be the theme for her site!

As inspiration Kris showed us a book by Eric Carle. We made a bunch of paintings and cut out pieces to bring into flash, where animation superhero, Kim Hui, brought them to life.
