<p>For the typography, we chose Chaparral Pro, designed by <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carol_Twombly" title="type designer Carol Twombly - creator of Chaparral Pro">Carol Twombly</a>, a slab serif font that has some subtle wood-cut qualities that make it feel a little more down to earth and less trendy.  It&#8217;s down to earth look is complimented with the bright and warm color scheme against the mid-toned grey background.</p>

								<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We just finished the identity for the East River Institute, started by <a href="http://www.pinterest.com/timebrutus/" title="Tim Brutus on Pinterest">Timothy Brutus</a>.  We wanted to go with something simple and classic looking, we went with <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bodoni" title="info about Giambattista Bodoni and the font Bodoni">Bodoni</a> for the font.  It&#8217;s contrast in stroke makes it look really classy, we tracked out the letters and gave some white space around the logo to let it be nicely placed on any photo (they had a lot of great water-front photography)</p>
